In 1920, the company was founded and entered into the commercial register, evolving from a family grocery business. Today, Andreas Hanitzsch runs the company in the fourth generation – with firm roots in tradition and the ambition to always stay one step ahead. In the Dresden area, our trucks have become an integral part of the cityscape.

More than 61 vehicles, over 10,000 m² of covered warehouse space at the Kesselsdorf site and more than 21,350 transports per year. Over 200 people work for the company.
How is Hanitzsch committed to sustainability?
The company operates its own LNG filling station at the Kesselsdorf site for more environmentally friendly natural gas deliveries. In 2025, its first fully electric heavy-duty truck (Scania 45 R) went into operation. Logistics processes have also been digitalised with the CarLo transport management software.
