Spedition Hanitzsch is a family-run logistics company from Kesselsdorf near Dresden, Germany. Since 1920 we have been transporting value: regionally, nationwide and across Europe, with transport logistics, contract logistics, battery logistics and dangerous goods transport. More than 200 employees, over 61 vehicles and more than 100 years of experience stand behind it.
Several vehicles cover regular FTL and LTL services across Germany every day – from scheduled services to temperature-controlled and special transports. Our proximity to the state capital Dresden and direct motorway access allow us to supply the entire Greater Dresden area within 30 minutes.
Our portfolio ranges from warehousing via picking and packing to transports of all kinds. In close partnership with shippers, forwarders and producers, we work with utmost care and agility to deliver the best solution – every time.
National and Europe-wide FTL and LTL transports with daily scheduled services to Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. More than 21,350 shipments per year, including temperature-controlled, dangerous goods and special transports; thanks to direct motorway access, the Greater Dresden area is supplied within 30 minutes.
Storage, transhipment and picking on more than 10,000 m² of covered warehouse space in Kesselsdorf – on request directly at your premises. Trained warehouse staff assemble consignee-specific pallets and deliver them on schedule; the truck parking spaces on site are protected by security guards.
High-tech logistics centre for lithium-ion batteries and battery management systems in line with international dangerous goods standards. Lithium-ion batteries are classified as dangerous goods and are subject to high safety standards because of the fire risk; the logistics centre in Kesselsdorf meets the requirements for these sensitive energy storage units.
Longer, wider, heavier – nothing is impossible. Low-loaders, open trailers and jumbo vehicles for oversize and heavy loads over 24 t; mega and jumbo vehicles carry up to 66 euro pallets with interior heights up to 3.10 m, and moving-floor trailers allow loading and unloading without a forklift.
By land, by sea or by air – we are the right partner for your request and organise transports for all modes. We carry ISO-standard containers in 20 and 40 ft sizes in combined transport, and groupage freight runs on our daily scheduled services.
Personnel services for logistics plus our own training centre with regular module training for our employees. We train professional drivers, warehouse logistics specialists, commercial vehicle mechatronics technicians and forwarding agents; in addition there is a degree programme in transport business administration and logistics with practical projects.
More than 61 vehicles – from courier van to heavy haulage: our broadly positioned fleet keeps us flexible and your goods on schedule. Our own workshop and certified wash bay at the Kesselsdorf site keep the fleet ready for service; the LNG filling station and the fully electric Scania 45 R reduce emissions.

Our central site is located in the Kesselsdorf industrial estate. In our main building, opened in 2021, we handle our business partners' orders – with extensive warehousing, a broadly positioned fleet and our own workshop. More than 200 employees work here in dispatch, warehouse, workshop and office; halls with over 10,000 m² and an on-site LNG filling station are part of the premises.

In 1920, the company was founded and entered into the commercial register, evolving from a family grocery business.
